Biological Exuberance: Animal Homosexuality and Natural Diversity

Bagemihl worked during nine years on animal homosexuality before publishing this book. Although itself homosexual, it says not to have written this work because of its own homosexual orientations but because the human implications were enormous. That seems to be checked when the American supreme court quoted this book in the famous case Lawrence vs Tewas which led to an important legal result: the laws anti-sodomy since are regarded as unconstitutional.

The book was published in English at Stonewall Inn Editions. (ISBN 031225377X)
