British highway M4
The highway M4 is a highway of the the United Kingdom with a 305 km length. It was built between 1961 and 1996 and it is the main roads for the vehicles with the Wales.
The highway starts with London, with the district of Chiswick. The majority of the M4 highway in England have six lanes, but the Chiswick Flyover has only four lanes. The highway passes Aéroport of London Heathrow and it has a great junction with the highway M25. It passes the towns of Slough and Maidenhead, and then the highway passes the big city of Reading and the town of Newbury. It passes the town of Swindon (the factory of Honda is located here), and thereafter it passes the big city of Bristol. The highway has a junction with the highway M5 (with the south-western and the Midlands of the West of England), and then it crosses the river Severn (this bridge was to open in 1996 - before it opened, there was another bridge, which currently carries the highway M48 above the river). After that, the highway passes the town of Newport, and the capital and more big city of Wales, Cardiff. After Cardiff the highway has four lanes, and it passes the towns of Bridgend, Port Talbot and Swansea. It finishes approximately 15 km in the North-West of Swansea, with its junction with a48 road.
