Braze welding

Definition

Proceeded of Brazing in which the soudobrasé joint is obtained gradually, by a procedure similar to that of welding fusion, but without any capillary action as in brazing, nor fusion of the base metal. The melting point of the metal or filler metal is lower than that of the base metal, but higher than 450 °C.

The operation of braze welding is an operation of brazing, in the only condition that there is a preparation of the edges, like a traditional welding (standard EE). It is an operation of assembly without distinction between the homogeneity and the heterogeneity of the unit.
