Bracieux

Bracieux is a common French, located in the department of Loir-et-Cher and the area Center.

Geography

The village is located between the valley-of-Loire and the the Sologne, and more particularly between Chambord, Blois and Cheverny.

History

Located on a Roman way (old road of Toulouse), Issoudin Blois as on the way of the oxen which go up from Poitiers to Paris. At the 16th century, the trade was flourishing there with many markets to which certain street names testify some.
