Boz Burrell

Boz Burrell (born Raymond Burrell the 1946 with Lincoln in England; deceased the September 21st 2006 in Spain) is a bass player who collaborated in groups like King Crimson and Bad Company.

In the middle of the Sixties, whereas he was the singer leador of the " group; The Boz People" , Boz Burrell was approximate to replace Roger Daltrey about to be made transfer The Who. Finally Roger Daltrey will remain singer of the group.

In 1971, it is recruited to be the singer of King Crimson. The group not succeeding in recruiting of bass player, Boz Burrell, knowing rudiments of guitar, was caused to be initiated with the basic play by the guitarist Robert Fripp. Boz will record with King Crimson the Islands album and will take part in the European rounds of the group of 1971 to 72. Following its departure of King Crimson, it will found with Mel Hakes and Ian Wallace (also of King Crimson with group named Snape with the British bluesman Alexis Korner. In 1973, it founds Bad Company with Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke (ex: Free), Mick Ralphs (ex Mott The Hoople). The group will quickly become known internationally and will remain active until the middle of the Nineties.

Recently, Boz turned with Tam White.

It is deceased of an heart attack in Spain the September 21st 2006 with old 60 years.
