Bouziane
Family name Bouziane corresponds to a family originating in the Morocco. Of the representative of this famiile also find themselves until in Egypt and with the the Middle East.
The origin first of Bouziane is the tribes Ziane (Zayane) originating in Khénifra in the means Moroccan Atlas. This tribe is known for its warlike values and its direction of the honor and the attachment to its grounds.
Under the Almohades, Abou Zayane belong to the high army corps and carry the standard of the Islam in the Iberian peninsula, with the the Maghreb, and to sub-Saharan Africa. One finds in fact of Bouziane in Morocco, in Algérie, and Tunisia.
Under the dynasty which followed, the Mérinides (based with Fès), Abou Zayane became another extensive and gave viziers and senior officials. One as of their ends even up reaching the Califat in 1358: Abû Ziyân sits `îd Muhammad Ben Fâris.
What followed for the Bouziane family coincided with the fall of the empire mérinide and scattering of Bouziane in all the areas subjected to the new reign of the Wattassides.
Being at the origin of a wandering nature, the descendants of Bouziane travelled beyond the Maghreb to the Middle East where number of them settled, in particular with the Lebanon and Syria.
