Bourem is a city Malian, chief town of circle and commune in the area of Gao. Its population is evaluated with 5.389 inhabitants in 2004.

The circle of Bourem includes/understands the communes of Bamba, Bourem, Taboye, Tarkint and Téméra. It counts approximately 290.000 inhabitants.
