Bonobo is a library of Modèle of component ( component model ) for the Documents made up ( compound document ) used in the environment of office GNOME.

It is inspired by technology OLE of Microsoft. A similar technology, KParts, were also developed by the developers of KDE. But contrary to the latter, Bonobo uses CORBA.
