Blue holidays (Foundation of company)

Blue Vacances is a foundation of the company of the same name. Its principal activity is to promote and make known art in France.

Blue the Vacances foundation takes actions of general interest in the three following fields:

Art, Culture and Inheritance : to promote contemporary creation and to diffuse of it knowledge via perpetuation and development of the Collection of Contemporary art (acquisition or orders of work of art), the provision of the buildings of Blue the Holidays Group for free works…
Social and Solidarity : to support the actions bound for all public and in particular near the isolated people or in difficulties, of the sportsmen amateurs, associations or the youth organizations; via the time of the holidays for example or the support for associations helping the young people.
Humane abroad : to develop and coordinate, starting from France, of the humane programs near populations in great difficulty abroad, via Travelling Differently.

Art

This artistic patronage is organized around 3 main roads:

temporary exhibitions open to the public, of young artists, with the seat of Blue Holidays,
acquisition of works,
exposure of these works in the hotels Blue Holidays,

The group wishes to develop the curiosity of each one but also to contribute to the development of the contemporary art to Marseilles starting from its young creators. For that, Blue the Vacances company implies these employees but also these customers by exposing works in its seat and its hotels.

Exposures are organized on the basis of rich collection of more than 200 works in the various hotels of the company, representative of many artist:

of young people like Deck-beam, Messoubeur, Boudjellouli, Clavère, Nava, Raquin, Rebufa, Scoccimaro;
those which make the richness of area PACA like Autard, Boyer, Bartolani, Caillol, Ceccarelli, Gouvernet, Klemensiewicz, Mezzapelle, Laudy, Réno, Surian, Simonet, Sylvander and Traquandi
the artists of national size such as Alberola, Ben, Bioulès, Corpet, Hybert, Gac, Rousse, Vitali or Claude Viallat.

More ambitious artistic projects were born, like:

the architecture and the decoration of the covered swimming pool of the Southern Full hotel with Hyères, starting from a large cover of Claude Viallat
“the residence of the painter” to the Castle of Montvillargenne to Chantilly where the painter Jean Gac invests the place for an evolutionary installation “picto-romantic”

In addition, the foundation takes part in the cultural assistance near associations (Art and Development) in clubs of reflection (UPE 13 Club Art and Companies), and contributes it with the creation and the edition of catalogs.

Other actions

Other actions are carried out by the foundation, by the assistance with the isolated people and very old with organized stays, assistance with the problem childs to be expressed by painting with association “Art and Development” established in the districts north of Marseilles, policy of recycling of waste, helps with the company founders with association Paca Entreprendre… and also a humane project since 2000 with its Voyager subsidiary company Differently which allows each year to pour 6000€ with associations or organizations which work with the economic development of their country.
