The Alfes blacks ( svartálfar in old man-norrois) are a species of beings of the Scandinavian Mythologie. It is, according to Snorri Sturluson, about a category of Alfes, the others being the luminous Alfes and the Alfes dark.

Their existence is called upon only indirectly by Snorri, when it mentions Svartalfheim ( world of Alfes blacks ) ( Gylfaginning , 34, Skáldskaparmál , 37). Svartalfheim indicating in both cases the underground residence of the dwarf , it would seem that Alfes dwarf blacks and are comparable.
