Bill Vukovich
Bill Vukovich was an American racing driver born the December 13rd 1918 with Fresno (California) and deceased the May 30th 1955 with Indianapolis (Indiana), at the time of the 500 miles of Indianapolis.
Biography
Bill Vukovich (the Americans having evil to pronounce its patronym correctly, of Yugoslav origin, called it “Vuky”), resulted like the majority from the American pilots of the tumultuous groups of “midget. ” At the beginning of the Years 1950, it became one of the most famous American pilots of its time by being made a speciality of the 500 miles Indianapolis.
