Built between 1815 and 1818 per Jean-Baptiste Barbat, mayor of the commune. The building, which replaces an older castle, takes as a starting point the houses built in the style palladien by the Parisian architects at the end of the XVIIIe century. A modification was made in first half of the XXe century to the back frontage which comprised in the beginning the same provision as the frontage of entry. The decoration and the interior distribution are partly preserved. The ground floor is reserved for the utility parts (kitchen, dairy, hollow, to rough-hew). The first stage includes/understands the principal parts (large living room, dining room, library). In 1837, construction of a small funerary vault in neo-gothic style.
Private property classified with the historic buildings on December 26th, 2002.
