Bidochon

Bidochon is a series of cartoons created by Christian Binet, which is the scenario writer and the draftsman.

The series initially was published starting from 1979 in the magazine icy Fluide . It traces the satirical portrait of Robert and Raymonde Bidochon, a couple of Average Frenchmen of about fifty years whose daily newspaper is made the small ones through and is influenced by the Consumer society.

In their first adventures, the Bidochon couple collects a intellectual dog, Kador, which is the subject of another series of the same author in 4 volumes at AUDIE.

The characters of the saga appear for the 1 time in the n°11 of icy Fluide, in 1977.

the last page of each album comprises a dedication of Christian Binet. It is composed of three parts:

“This album is dedicated”
“This album is not dedicated”
“Generally this album is dedicated with (...) with which my reports/ratios were as varied as enriching”.

Derived

Bidochons gave place to a play, Bidochon - History of Love in 1989, with Line Michel and Gilbert Libe (published in VHS at BMG in 1990). This part from now on is rejouée in 2006-2007 through France, with Vincent Ross and Francoise Royes this time (title Bidochon ).
the series of cartoon was also adapted to the cinema in 1996, by Serge Korber, with Jean-François Stévenin (Robert), Anémone (Raymonde), Jean-Pierre Cassel, Richard Darbois, Annie Girardot, Élie Semoun, Arthur, etc Voir: Bidochon (film) (begun again in VHS at M6 the same year).
Bidochons (with a S at the end) is a parodic group of Rock, whose name is inspired by the cartoon.
a 45T of 1984 by Hubert Pembroke, with the piece Bidochon and Kador and a new drawing with the 1st dish. Binet contributed to its realization.
