Between-the-Fourgs
Between-the-Fourgs is small a typical Hameau mountain of the massive jurrassien French located on the buttresses of the Mont Suchet. Supporting a oceanic climate the summers are not too hot and snow is invited during several months the winter.
Geographical location
The village of Between-The-Fourgs is one of the 7 hamlets of the commune of Jougne. With the variation of the national 57 Pontarlier - Vallorbe, the village is bordering on the Suisse on 6 km (12 on the whole for the commune). The village is installed on a long plate of 3,5km on 500m of broad, flat or not very sloping with 1050m of altitude.
Economy
It is a place favorable for the Agriculture, the breeding, the Pâturage, the Fertilité of the ground and the Ensoleillement. A ski-lift currently managed by an association has existed for one half-century and makes the pride and the joy of a good number of inhabitants.
