Bernard Deyriès

Bernard Deyriès is a draftsman, scenario writer, French realizer.

Beginnings

In the Sixties, it is student with the Ecole Brassart of Tours. It will become a few years about it later the main teacher then the director. Its first drawings will be published in the fanzines Choc and Publi-Shock of Micberth. It enters to the Jeune French poetic Force to create there the service cinema with Jean-Paul Pineau. One will note a short passage to his sides of the realizer Patrice Leconte.

Bernard Deyriès began his professional path in 1974 with Jean Chalopin in the company DIC. They made advertizing cartoons and institutional films ( like Archibald the magician) , then the desire came to Jean Chalopin to make series. In 1979, it leaves to the Japan and assembles Ulysses 31 with the TMS (Tokyo Movie Shinsha). It was the first coproduction free-Japanese woman. Deyriès joined it.

In front of the success of Ulysse31 , he will be regarded by the critic as a large French draftsman. He will coréalisera (with Jean Chalopin ) the “masterpieces” of the time, Ulysses 31 already quoted, with the Mystérieuses Cities of gold , while passing by Jayce and the Conquerors of the Light , MASK , Inspecteur Gadget , Minipouss , or Entrechats , etc

In 1990, it founds with Guy Delcourt and Christian Choquet a company of cartoons: “Story”.
