Bernard Devauchelle

Bernard Devauchelle is a professor of Médecine French. Chief of the Maxillofaciale department of surgery of the CHU of Amiens. He is member many scientific institutions and associated member of the French Academy of Surgery. He sits in the leading committee several international reviews.

With its team, of which Sylvie Testelin of the CHU of Amiens and Benoit Lengelé of the Catholic University of Leuwen, which carried out the November 27th 2005 the first Greffe partial of the face on an young woman disfigured by her dog, Isabelle Dinoire.

The economic magazine Challenges of the August 31st 2006 in its prize list of the " 100 world personalities whose action, convictions or intuitions influence the walk of the world " fact of appearing among the 10 scientists selected, Bernard Devauchelle with the following comment: “It is to Him the face of people whom it changes”.
