Bernard Cornut-Nice is a French politician, born the July 26th 1909 with Brest (Finistere), deceased the January 21st 1992 with Paris.
Sub-prefect of Rheims (the Marne) in 1943, it resigns to assist Emile Bollaert, deputy free France, until 1944. He is in 1944 successively prefect of Ille-et-Vilaine, of the Somme and of the the Low-Rhine, he will be then, in 1948, High-Commissioner of the Republic in French equatorial Africa then, of 1951 to 1956, in French Western Africa. He is permanent representative of France at the Safety advice of the the United Nations then ambassador in Argentine in 1957.
Its nephew, François Cornut-Gentille, are appointed of Haute-Marne since 1993 and mayor of Saint-Dizier since 1995.
As mayor of Cannes, it avoided an excessive urbanization of its city. It concluded of important work of public utility (achievements sporting and social) and of cleansing of the old workings. Under its mandate, the walk of the Small cross was reorganized while keeping its initial aspect.
