Beriev Aircraft Company

Research department and of construction of seaplanes, created in 1932 (see OKB) with the factory of planes number 31 and renamed according to the name of its former director Gueorgui Beriev.

The research department Tankt Beriev is located at Taganrog, with the mouth of the Don close to the Black Sea. The production is also done partly there but at Irkout with Irkoutsk.

Beriev was always specialized in the flying-boats, even if it sometimes happened to him to create or adapt terrestrial planes.

  • Irkout: 39,6 %
  • Soukhoï : 38%

The company must amalgamate with the factory Tavia.

Production

With the wire of its seventy years of existence, Beriev created the following planes:

  • MBR-2/MP-1: exist in version marine or amphibious, transport with weak operating range, 1500 specimens since 1932
  • MBR-5: amphibian of recognition, 1935
  • KOR-1: seaplane of recognition, probably based on Polikarpov equipped with floats. Also known under the denomination Beriev Be-6.
  • MDR-5: seaplane of recognition to long operating range, 1938. Version amphibian in 1939.
  • MBR-7: amphibian of recognition to short operating range, 1939.
  • KOR-2: seaplane of recognition conceived to be catapulted a boat, 1940.
  • LL-143: prototype of seaplane of recognition to long operating range, 1945.
  • Be-6: seaplane of recognition to long operating range, 1947.
  • Be-8: two prototypes of amphibian of connection, 1948.
  • R-1: prototype of seaplane of recognition and bombardment with reaction, 1952.
  • Be-10: prototype of seaplane of recognition and bombardment with reaction, 1952.
  • P-10: rocket, 1956.
  • Be-12: amphibian of anti-submarine fight, 1960.
  • Be-1: prototype of small seaplane with reaction, 1964.
  • Year-30: installation of 115 Antonov Year-30 for the photographic recognition, 1967.
  • Be-30/Be-32: local transport aircraft, 1968.
  • VVA-14: prototype of an amphibian on vertical takeoff and landing, 1976.
  • 14M1P: prototype of amphibious plane with Ground effect (Ekranoplane), 1976.
  • You-142MR: evolution of Tupolev 142,1977.
  • A-50: plane of alarm and control (AWACS), 1984 (there is also a laser version )
  • A-40/A-42: amphibian of anti-submarine fight to reaction, 1986 (larger amphibian of the world).
  • Be-12P: amphibian of fire protection fight, built in 1991 per Be-12 conversion.
  • Be-32K: Remotorized and updated Be-32, 1994
  • Be-12P-200: a Be-12P modified like laboratory flying for the tanks of Be-200
  • Be-103: amphibian of light transport, 1997.
  • Be-200: multi-task amphibian with reaction, 1998.
Be-200 was evaluated by France and Italy in the fire protection fight. In France, one preferred DHC-8 Q400-MR to him.
  • A-42PE: project of amphibian with turbofans of research and rescue at sea.
  • Be-2500: project of seaplane heavy cargo liner.
