Belgian boxing ring R21

The Belgian boxing ring R21 is the second belt of Brussels. It is often called the large belt . It is located between the small belt (surrounding the downtown area) and the boxing ring (circumventing the agglomeration). It does not form a loop but approximately a half-circle, in the north and the east of the city.

R21 is not a highway but a formed road from two to three bands in each direction with a central reservation (on which circulate by places of the trams). Circulation is managed by tricolor fires. Its course is not entirely classified under name boxing ring 21 , certain small sections being indexed like trunk road.
