Begaljica

Begaljica , in Serb Cyrillic Sr Бегаљица, is a locality of Serbia located in the municipality of Grocka, district of Belgrade. In 2002, it counted: 3255 inhabitants, of which a majority of Serb.

Begaljica is located in the area of Podunavlje, in the north of the Šumadija. It is to 5 km of Grocka and to 35 km in the east of the center town of Belgrade.

Begaljica is officially classified among the villages of Serbia. In fact, the essential activity of the locality is agriculture because it is in the center of one of the most important fruit-bearing areas of Serbia (apples, fishings, apricots, cherries etc).

The Monastère of Rajinovac is located in the southern suburbs of Begaljica.
