Batya Lishinski

Batya Lishinski ( בתיהלישנסקי ) is an Israeli sculptrice.

It is born in 1900 in Ukraine and emigrates with its family in Palestine in 1910. She attends the school Hertzliya with Tel-Aviv, then continues studies of art at the school Bétzalel and abroad. Of its return to the country, Batya Lishinski adheres to the Gdoud Haavoda and becomes some time member of the Kibboutz Eïn-Harod, which it again leaves for the foreigner, where it works in the artist Hana Orlov.

Batya Lishinski exposes in many exposures and is in the beginning various steles commemorative of Israel. Its works are centered on the feelings of fight, defense, heroism and pain. Most famous of its sculptures are with the Moshav Kfar-Yéhoshoua and in the kibbutzes Beït-Keshet and Houlda.

Lishinski is the author of the bronze statue representing Yigal Allon, posed at the entry of the museum of Nof-Guinossar.
