Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance

This article presents the guide of the episodes diffused on the Internet (also called webisodes ) of the Televised series Battlestar Galactica .

This series of episodes available only on line fills the holes scenaristic between the second and troisème seasons of the series. They are not necessary to a good comprehension of the series, but give thickness to certain characters of the series. These episodes can be seen via the official Web site of the series.

These episodes were written by the scenario writers Bradley Thompson and David Weddle and were carried out by Wayne Pink. There is in all ten, of which the total duration borders the 27 minutes.

Episode 1

  • Summarized : Galen the Tyrol and Saul Tigh organizes the movement of resistance on the News Caprica occupied by the cylons, but to recruit new soldiers becomes dangerous and difficult: let us cylons imposed a Couvre-feu. “Those which enfreignent any rule go directly in prison”, such is the first law of the occupation. The néo-capricains are on the spot carried out so weapons are found on their premises. A hiding place of weapons belonging to Longo was thus confiscated, but resistance could recover those which the robots did not find. The latter besides have just formed a human police force to succeed the centurions cylons which are too often made destroy.

  • Summarized : Duck did not want to belong to resistance because of its relation with Nora and the child until it waits. The Tyrol is opposed by these reasons, since it is in the same case and made in spite of very part of resistance. Jammer suggests to him respecting the decision of Duck.
    At the end of the ritual of protection of harvests, Jean Barolay proposes to change place the weapons hidden in the temple. Jammer is not of agreement but the opinion of Tigh supplants it.
