The battles of the bridge of Loc' H was held the January 24th 1800 and opposed the republican troops to the Chouans. The general Olivier Harty was charged, by the general Brune to fight the insurgent troops of the Morbihan. Harty then made an exit since Vannes with 3.500 men, it was not long in meeting Chouans, ordered by their généralissime, Georges Cadoudal close to the bridge of Loc' h. the battle was tightened and disturbed by the fog, with final the republicans had to beat a retreat while the chouans remained Masters of the ground. Chouans had gained a victory, but it was minor and did not change the court of the war. Not being able anything more to face more important manpower of the republicans, Cadoudal will be forced to sign peace later a few weeks.
