Battle of Thapsus
The battles of Thapsus took place the February 6th 46 av. J. - C. in Roman Africa. She opposed the partisans of late the Pompée, ordered by Caton and Metellus Scipion, with the troops directed by Jules César.
During this program, Pompéiens, combined to the king of Numidie Juba I {{er}} was beaten and César became the uncontested chief of Rome. After Thapsus, César saw its dictatorship and its consulate extended to 10 years.
The last partisans of Pumped were definitively eliminated at the time of the Bataille of Munda (close to Cordoue), in Spain, the March 17th of the year -45 front J. - C.
