Battle of Caseros

The battle of Caseros (also called battles of Assembles Caseros) took place with Caseros, today Estación El Palomar, in the province of Buenos Aires, in Argentina, on February 3rd, 1852. She opposed the army of Buenos Aires, ordered by Juan Manuel of Rosas, with the Large army (Ejército Grande) ordered by Justo Jose de Urquiza, and consisted a coalition of opponents to the mode of Rosas, Brazilian and Uruguyan troops. The forces of Urquiza, governor of the province of Between Ríos, overrode Rosas, which was exiled with the the United Kingdom. This battle marks a rupture in the history of Argentina: after having gained the victory, Urquiza, then directing provisional of the Argentinian Confederation, caused the development of the Constitution of 1853, and became in 1854 the first constitutional president of Argentina.
