Baoding (保定; Pinyin: Bǎodìng) is a city of the province Hebei in China. Its population is of approximately: 635500 inhabitants. One speaks the dialect there about Baoding of the Mandarin jilu. The other dialects of Mandarin jilu are those of Shijiazhuang, Jinan and Tianjin.

Climate

The average temperatures for the town of Baoding go from -3,9°C for the coldest month to +27,1°C for the hottest month, with an annual average of +12,8°C (figures stopped in 1988), and the Pluviométrie is there of 541,6  mm (figures stopped in 1990).

Demography

The population of the prefecture was estimated at: 10700000 inhabitants in 2004, and that of the town of Baoding with: 1061336 inhabitants in 2007.

In 2005, total GDP was of 107,2 billion Yuan S, and the GDP per capita of: 9991 yuans.
