Bank of Japan
The Banque of Japan (日本銀行, Japanese ginkō , of Japanese , Japan and ginkō , banks) is the Central bank Japan. One often meets the abbreviation BoJ which comes from English Bank off Japan .
It acquired its theoretical independence with respect to the government by the law of April 1st 1998; this independence (with respect to the government) is sometimes questioned.
It is charged to emit the parts and tickets of Yen S, to set up the monetary policy, to ensure the financial stability of the financial system, and to lead the policy of foreign exchange rate.
BoJ forms part with the Federal fund of the United States (EDF) and the European Central bank (ECB) of the three principal central banks of the world.
At dated September 20th, 2007, the Taux of refinancing (principal directing Rate) is to 0.5%.
