A banana is a Ship refrigerated especially conceived and arranged for the transport of Banane S.

Characteristics

The very fast maturation of this fruit is stopped by maintaining for the duration of the crossing a temperature ranging between 11 and 12°C, obtained by ventilation of cold air.

The banana trees are fast ships and generally comprise installations for twelve passengers in cabin. The first banana trees were built with the the United States by the Cramp building sites of Philadelphia on behalf of the Boston Fruit Company (see United Fruit Company).
