Bagnols-sur-Cèze (in French), also called Banhòus To cease (in Occitan) is a common French, located in the department of the Gard and the area Languedoc-Roussillon.

Geography

Bagnols-sur-Cèze is in the Rhone-native corridor in Provence (western end), in the north of the the Camargue and the east of the the Cevennes at the edge of the Cèze.

Third Agglomeration of the Gard, after Nimes and Ales, with 18.103 inhabitants; the city especially consists of small shops, bars, bars of buildings, supermarkets, villas and an old center town. Bagnols-sur-Cèze counts three colleges: the Gerard Philippe, the Georges Brassens (ex them Eyrieux, famous in 2006 by the president of area Georges Frêche) and the college private Sainte-Marie; like four colleges: the Bernard de Ventadour, the Gerard Philippe, the Thicket and the college private Midsummer's Day. All renovated recently.

The city experienced its stronger development at the time of the installation of the center Nucléaire of Marcoule in 1956, passing from approximately 5650 inhabitants (census of 1954) with 18  103 today.

The Mont Knitting machine in full downtown area is famous to accommodate concerts throughout the year and particularly in summer. This amphitheater of outdoor can accommodate 2000 people. It is surrounded by greenery and a large carpark. In 2007 it accommodates the électronic summer festival, organizing thus concerts every week.

The town of Bagnols accommodates also the Ja' Sound, celebrates festival of reggae extending over three days and gathering thousands of young people of whole France and even of Europe.
