BERD

The town of Berd (or PERT in Eastern Armenian; Բերդ in Armenian) is located in Arménie, in the province of Tavush, in the North-East of Arménie. Loses means “castle” or “Strong”, moreover, on a piton rocheu a fortress is located there. The mayor of the city east Antranig Charian. The city plans to build a new church (which will be normally completed in 2008), the old one being devastated during the years 1930.
