Axel Oxenstierna
Axel Gustafsson Oxenstierna or Oxenstjerna (June 16th 1583 with Fånö - August 28th 1654) is a high chancellor of Sweden
He makes his studies with his brothers in the universities of Rostock, Iéna and Wittenberg. In 1603, it works for the king Charles IX of Sweden. In 1606, it undertakes a first diplomatic mission, with Mecklembourg, and becomes one of the right-hand men of the king. In 1610, it goes to Copenhagen to try to avoid the war with the Denmark, but it fails. This embassy will be for Oxenstierna the beginning of a long diplomatic fight with the traditional rival of Sweden, that all its life it will regard as the enemy of its most frightening country.
Chancellor
In 1645, it creates an official journal for Sweden, the Post- och Inrikes Tidningar, which always exists.
