Awara (city)
Awara (あわら市; - shi) is a city of the Japan located in the Préfecture of Fukui.
At October 1st 2005, the city had a population of 31 080 inhabitants and a density of 265,66 hab/km ². Awara extends on 116,99 km ².
The city was founded on March 1st 2004, starting from the fusion of the towns of Awara and Kanazu.
Awara is famous for its Onsen .
