Augusta of Cambridge
Augusta of Cambridge , born the July 19th 1822 with the Hanover, deceased 5 December 1916 with Neustrelitz.
It was a British family member royal, peite-girl of Georges III of the United Kingdom, aunt of Marie de Teck, cousin of Victoria Ire of the United Kingdom.

Marriage and descent
The June 28th 1843, Augusta of Cambridge married Frederic-Guillaume de Mecklembourg-Strelitz with the Palais of Buckingham to London.

Biography
By its marriage, it became large-duchess hériditaire of Mecklembourg-Strelitz, with died of her father-in-law in 1860 it became large-duchess of Mecklembourg-Strelitz.
Childhood
Augusta of Cambridge was born with the palate from Montbrillant to Hanover. It spent its youths to Hanover where his/her father was viceroy in the name of his brother Georges IV of the United Kingdom.
Augusta of Cambridge had a Georges brother, duke of Cambridge, a sister Marie-Adelaide of Cambridge which married the duke Francis de Teck (Marie-Adelaide is the mother of Marie de Teck marries Georges V of the United Kingdom).
Life
Augusta of Cambridge passed the majority of its life in Germany, but maintained close links with the British royal family. With the palate of Kensington, it made frequent visits with her mother. In 1889, after the death of his/her mother it acquired a house in the neighborhoods of Buckingham, where it passed part of the year.
In 1901, concerning the label and the appropriate dress for the crowning of Edouard VII of the United Kingdom and of Alexandra of Denmark, Henri Fitzalan-Howard, 15th duke of Norfolk consulted Augusta of Cambridge. This consultation was due to its presence during the crowning of Guillaume IV of the United Kingdom and of Adelaide of Saxony-Meiningen (1830). She could also provide details on the crowning of the queen Victoria Ire of the United Kingdom. Augusta of Cambridge was very close to his/her niece Marie de Teck, but because of its great age it could not attend the crowning which took place with the Abbaye of Westminster the June 22nd 1911.
Death and burial
Augusta of Cambridge died the December 5th 1916 with Neustrelitz, it was old of qunatre-vingt-quatorze years. It was buried with Mirow.
