Audresselles
Audresselles is a common French, located in the department of the Pas-de-Calais and the area Nord-Pas-de-Calais, in the south of the Cape Gray-Nose. The commune occupies 572 hectares and account 681 inhabitants. The old name of the commune was Oderzell (as an old Scandinavian: Odr: the course and Zell: the manor) (1).

Beaches and rocks
Audresselles comprises two principal beaches separated by a course known as " the coast of fer" because of its color, with lines of sandstone rocks: the beach of the south extending until Ambleteuse, it is the principal place of bathe, and the northern beach, which extends towards the gray-nose and skirts a cliff remained wild.
History
Between 1558, end of the English occupation, and the middle of the XVIIe century, the seigniory of Audresselles comprised also the hamlet of Haringzelle where currently a hiding wood of the German batteries of Audinghen is.
