Audi A6

The Audi A6 is a Berline of luxury Tricorps built by the German mark Audi, déclinable also in version Before (station-wagon). To date, three generations different of Audi A6 followed one another (respectively named A6 C4, A6 C5 and A6 C6).

Redésignée the first time in 1997, Audi A6 offers new a face in 2004 thanks to the Italian designer Walter de' Silva , also at the origin of the design of the Audi A5. The German mark with the four rings also proposes a more sporting version of A6, Audi S6 .

Audi A6

Audi A6 C4 (1994 - 1997)

The Audi A6 C4 , also called Audi 100 C4 for the first years, is the very first generation of Audi A6, exit initially of the C1 series, C2 and C3 of the Audi 100 and changing this fact of nomenclature (just like the Audi A8 at the time). Outside remained unchanged overall compared to the version Audi 100 C3.

This C4 version offered engines gasolines or diesels going from one 4 cylinders 1,9 TDI of 90 ch until V6 2.8 of 193 ch. La sporting version S6 could be offered until 326 ch thanks to V8 4,2.

Audi A6 C5 (1997 - 2004)

This car appeared in Europe in 1997 for the truck and was declined in version Before (station-wagon) the following year. It competed with BMW Série 5 then, Mercedes classifies E and Esparto 166. It was available in many motorizations gasolines and diesels, in traction or four driving wheels (quattro, in series on the most powerful versions) and with three gear boxes: limp manual traditional, limps automatic Tiptronic and limps with variation continues Multitronic. Audi A6 C6 (2004 -)

This car appeared in 2004 and is available in the truck or version Before (station-wagon). It is available according to the engines in traction or in four driving wheels (quattro) and limps about it manual or automatic (Tiptronic). Direct competition: BMW Series 5, Chrysler 300C, Citroen C6, Mercedes classifies E.

Audi S6

The current Audi S6 is resulting, just like for a6 version, of two preceding generations of S6 (1995-1997) and C5 (1998-2003). This sporting version is presented international in January 2006 to the Living room Nord-Américain.

Its engine is a modified version of the V10 of the Lamborghini Gallardo, with a raised cubic capacity with 5,2L against 5L under the cap of sporting Italian and thus a couple raises some in spite of the power in fall (435 ch all the same). It carries out the 0 to 100 km/h into 5.2 S and is equipped with the system Quattro , its box is automatic and with 6 reports/ratios. The truck weighs 1910 kg, against 1970 for the Avant version.

Audi RS6

A version RS6 is presented to the living room of Frankfurt in September 2007. The engine of Audi RS6 develops 580ch thanks to a V10 5,2 L pushed by two turbocompressors.
