Asexual

In Biologie, a species is known as asexual if it can reproduce without the existence of individuals of distinct sexes (antonym: Sexué). It is the case in particular of the majority of the Micro-organisme S.
The term can also qualify an unusual mode of reproduction for certain sexuées species, like the vegetative Multiplication or the Parthénogenèse (see asexual Multiplication).
