Artistic Roller

Although ignored the artistic roller echoes the figure skating on ice.

The school of ice-skating

  • the majority of the little girls and the rare boys who choose the artistic Roller as sport start with a school of ice-skating, where they learn how to be held on quad S, to fall without hurting itself, to be held right: this school has some principles of the traditional Danse, which make the bases of very good artistic skater.
  • But what makes this school pleasant, it is its side “recreation”, since the professors are often young, of old who have enough technique and patience to deal with young people, or then of others which are grannies for the new generation. They are always arranged so that through plays, the children acquire enough bases to pass in artistic section itself, at the “large ones”.
  • Like the figure skating on ice, the artistic roller includes/understands various categories (solo, couple, dance, show,…). The figures to be carried out are more or less similar to the ice but are adapted to the quad even enriched. For example a pirouette, in addition to the various catches of possible cross-sections can be done on 4 or 2 wheels according to the level of the practitioner. These differences are sufficiently important so that the passage of the ice to the track and vice versa is not whole rest.

The artistic roller its practice in quad since the paddle of times, but for a few years has developed the artistic roller inline.
