Arthur Richard Dillon

Arthur Richard Dillon was born in 1721 with Saint-Germain-in-Bush hammer and died in London the July 5th 1806. He is the son of Arthur, count Dillon (1670 - 1733), military English with the service of France and Christina Sheldon (+ 1757). Uncle of Arthur Dillon and Theobald de Dillon.

It was successively bishop of Evreux (1753), archbishop of Toulouse (1758) and archbishop of Narbonne and primacy of the Gaulle Narbonnese (1762). He was also president of the States of Languedoc and commander of the Ordre of the Holy Spirit (1776). In 1788, it chaired the assembly of the clergy then emigrated in 1790. Taken refuge in London, it dies there while refusing to recognize the Concordat.

Its remainders are buried in England, then with Narbonne in March 2007.
