Arnold Schering

Arnold Schering (* April 2nd 1877 with Breslau - † March 7th 1941 with Berlin) was a German musicologist.

Arnold Schering, wire of an editor of art, passed his youth to Dresden. It attended there the college co. Anne ( Annengymnasium ) and learned how to play of the violin. As from 1896, it continued the study of the violin at Joseph Joachim at the University of Music ( Musikhochschule ) of Berlin and musicology at the University of Leipzig. It was pointed out by a thesis on the history of the concerto intrumental (where it is interested, one of the first, with Antonio Vivaldi), crowned successfully. After 1928, he taught in Berlin.
