Arnac-the-Station ( Arnac in Occitan) is a common French, located in the department of the High-Vienna and the area the Limousin.
Small commune of the north of the High-Vienna. This city has one of the best examples of church strengthened of the north of the department, its church of the 12th century strengthened at the 15th century (Guerre One hundred Year old). It has surmounted buttresses of cylindrical watch towers and preserves a reliquary enamelled of the 13th century. A square tower, provided with crenels and machicolation is the single witness of the existence of a wall which made church extremely true.

The room of Arnac
Old Seigniory which included/understood a home in the borough of Arnac and a mill, both called Room; the pond above the mill remains and bears still this name.Lords: Jean Coigne, witness with a marriage 9 janv. 1486 (v. Louis-Charles-Alexandre de Rouffignac, Lord of the Room, sons of Jean-Baptiste, Lord of Sannat, and Marie Coustin, lived in 1778-1790 his noble home of the Room with Arnac. He had married Jeanne-Francoise de Puiguion; he emigrated with the Revolution.
