Armande - Grésinde-Claire-Elisabeth Béjart is a Comédienne French born end 1642 and died in Paris the November 30th 1700.
Certain sources say it girl of Madeleine Béjart, others, less reliable, his/her younger sister.
Entry early in the troop of Molière, it marries it the February 20th 1662.
After the death of Molière, it gathers the former actors of the Palais Royal and the Marais and rents the room of the Hôtel Guénégaud on May 23rd 1673.
The May 31st 1677, it marries in second weddings the actor Guerin d' Estriché. Member of the Comédie-Française as of its creation, it leaves it on October 14th 1694 with a pension of 1.000 books.
The house that Armande Béjart had acquired with Meudon in 1676 became the Museum of Art and History.
