Areas of Tanzania
The Union of Tanzania is divided into 26 Région S (capitals between brackets). 21 is located on the continent, resulting from the old country of the Tanganyika, the 5 last in the autonomous archipelago of Zanzibar, which succeeded the old country of Zanzibar (country).
Below, the areas of the bank form the western border of the country, on bank is Lac Tanganyika. Those of the oceanic coast form the border is country, in the west of the Indian Ocean.
These areas are in their turn subdivided in 127 districts or wilaya .
