Apple X11

Apple X11 is a software for Mac OS X allowing the launching of a waiter X Window. It is based on XFree86 4.4, and not on X.org, as the majority of the distributions Linux currently do it. It has many competitors, such as the XTools, paying, properties of Tenon, and XDarwin, which allowed, before Apple does it, to the users Macintosh to reach XWindow. Lastly, the project Fink allows the installation of X.org.
