Aphidiinae
The Aphidiinae are Hyménoptère S of the family of the Braconidae of small size (a few millimetres).
As their name indicates it, they are endo-parasites of Aphides (Puceron S). The females parasitize their preys by directly laying their eggs inside their host using their drill which resembles a dart. The larvae develop inside the plant louses where they will carry out their metamorphosis before extirpating carcass of their host become a simple empty envelope called " momie".
Use in biological fight
Some of these microhyménoptères are used in biological Lutte against the plant louses, like Aphidius ervi or Aphidius colemani . Their effectiveness (each female can parasitize its descent several tens of plant louses per day) is made feel in a few days in a breeding.
