Apal
The company Apal (Polyester Application Armed Liege) is a company Belgian Automobile founded in 1961 with Blégny-Trembler close to Liege by Edmond Perry and Bruno Vidick with an aim of building copies of famous models of sport. They carry out initially a small sporting half-compartment on basis VW. Then, Apal manufactures single-seaters of Vee Formula but it is especially with the buggies that, during the years 1970, the mark will build its fame.
Into the years 1980, while continuing to produce some buggies, Apal reconverts into the manufacture of a counterpart of Porsche 356 Speedster, it also on the basis of frame of VW ladybird.
The activities of Apal cease in the middle of the years 1990.
