Anton Ausserer

Anton Ausserer is a German Naturaliste specialist in the Araignée S, born the July 5th 1843 with Bozen in the the Tyrol and dead the July 20th 1889 with Graz of a Bronchite.

Impassioned as of its young age by the Natural history but orphan at 15 years, it succeeds in continuing its studies by giving private lessons. In 1863, it becomes protected from professor Heller who incites it to study the Araignée S. It gains a contest of natural history, which enables him to continue its studies a little more comfortably.

He becomes professor with Feldkirch in 1867 then, in 1869, with Innsbruck. There, it takes part in the life of the company of natural history of the city and becomes its secretary.

In 1872, it obtains its title of doctor and sign, two years later, with Graz. It makes two voyages, one in Sicily in 1880 - 1881 and in Egypt in 1886 - 1887.

He Marie the following year but dies brutally in 1889.

He studies the spiders of the Tyrol and specializes on the Mygale S; he is the author of many kinds and many S.
