Anthony Wayne
Born on January 1st 1745 in Pennsylvania, the general Anthony Wayne was known as a " Anthony Fou" (Mad Anthony) by its American contemporaries. Not very inclined being studied long, Wayne started by being a controller in 1763. In 1765, it was engaged to supervise and protect the installation from a colony in Nova Scotia, an adventure of which it withdrew in 1766, to take again the family farm which he had inherited. He was a burning defender of the Colonialisme, and an agitator against the British policies.
At the time of the American revolution, it gained many battles, amongst other things the catch of a British outpost with Stony Point in 1779. Its career was very discussed, but it was entitled to all the honors after checking of malevolent rumors. In 1783, it returned to Pennsylvania and, in 1794, it was elected with the Congress as a representative of Georgia, station of which it was dislocated because of irregularities in his election.
In 1792, it succeeded the Général Clear Saint with the head of the American army of the Territory of Western North. After the failure of the peace negotiations with the Amerindian , to which Wayne was against, it definitively broke warlike inclinations of the Indians in 1794, with the battle of Fallen Timbers. It ratified its victory by the Treaty of Greenville in 1795, with the chiefs of the overcome tribes, which yielded all their grounds. Anthony Wayne died on December 15th 1796 and was buried with the Fort Almost Isle (Pennsylvania).
