Antónios Bourniás
Antónios Bourniás is a peasant originating in Chios in Greece.
He took part in the Campagne of Egypt of Bonaparte. He had then launched out in the trade to Smyrna and had bankruptcy. Taken refuge with Samos, it was filled with enthusiasm for the Guerre of Greek independence. With four other Chiotes, it could convince Lykoúrgos Logothétis to assemble a forwarding to release its native island. The unloading take place on March 22nd, 1822.
This intervention resulted in to start the Massacre of Tap-holes.
