Andrey Silnov

Andrey Silnov (in Russian: АндрейАлександровичСильнов, born the September 9th 1984 in Shahty, close to Rostov-sur-le-Don, is a Russian athlete whose speciality is the High jump. It measures 1,98 m for 83 kg.

It is champion of Europe 2006 of high jump, having gained the contest with a jump with 2,36 Mr. On this occasion, it beat his personal record of one cm.

In 2006, it also gained the test of the high jump of the Coupe of Europe of the nations of athletics 2006 with a jump of 2,31 m, the championship of Russia with 2,28 m and also the Super Grand Prix Herculis of Monaco by beating its personal record thanks to a jump with 2,37 Mr.

In 2007, it did not jump (with three recoveries) only 2,27 m (of which its place of third to the Russian national championships) but already 2,36 m indoor in Arnstadt reached on February 3rd.
