Andre Maroselli
André Maroselli is a French politician, born the February 22nd 1893 with Rutali (Corsica) and deceased the April 7th 1970. He followed the occupation of administrator of companies.
Biography
He takes part in the First World War. He is elected Senator in 1935. With its request it is mobilized in 1939 and is named lieutenant colonel of reserve in the air force. It is placed under monitoring by the Gestapo. Stopped in 1942, it is held with Fresnes like hostage. It takes part in the Résistance. It is the first Senator to join De Gaulle with London in 1943. It chairs the central committee of assistance the prisoners and for this reason goes to the USA to collect vivres and clothing.With the Release, he becomes member of the two constituent National Assemblies (1945-1946) then is elected radical Député of the Haute-Saône in 1946. He becomes again Senator in 1952 and turns over to the Palate-Bourbon in 1956. He finds a seat with the Sénat in 1959 and exercises this mandate during nine years in the group of the democratic Gauche. He also sat at the Sénat of the Community.
He was mayor of Luxeuil-the-Baths as of 1929 and general adviser of the Haute-Saône.
He is the father of Jacques Maroselli which was appointed FGDS in 1967-1968.
